Tyler was a very pleasant surprise. I hired a home appraiser and Tyler was the realtor he brought along. He was personable and clearly well connected. I agreed to hire him. The house was not in the best of shape. I expected a lecture about spending some money to increase its curb appeal but he didn't do that. He dove right in enthusiastically, explained his process and seemed to only see the potential in the property. When offers came in he offered his opinion; there was never any doubt he had my best interest in mind. When the house was in escrow, there was a potential hold up with my lawyer. Tyler offered to assist. This was particularly important to me since he, the house and the lawyer are all in San Diego and I am not. I highly recommend Tyler.

Throughout my adult years, I have had the experience of purchasing a few different houses. As my family began to grow, I recently found the need and desire to purchase a larger home. I spoke to a variety of different realtors that showed me a variety of homes until I found Tyler Martin. When making such a large decision, in a housing market such as this one, it was important to me to work with someone that I could trust. Tyler has been there every step of the way. He has always answered every call or email no matter what time of day or night it was. His professionalism, mentorship, knowledge, honesty, and hard work ethic are much respected and appreciated. I never felt that he was just trying to sell me a house, but that he was a mentor to answer my questions and help me to make the best decision for my family. I knew Tyler from mutual friend we didn’t have any transaction before I had to list my house this year so I went with an agent I knew for 8 months we had lots of viewings and one offer didn’t work. It was listed for 9 months. Then I spoke with Tyler regarding the situation and I was frustrated so we put strategy to cancel the listing and start all over he came up with new approach and did outside and inside staging, marketing and Open house. We had good turnout and we got more than one offer and Tyler got us $50,000 more than previous listing. Tyler is closer. Sourced us an off-market deal that we never would have been able to jump on if the listing was on the MLS. Then got the listing agent to accept our bid the day before it was scheduled to go on the market. We would still be looking if it weren't for him. Highly recommended for multi-family. Tyler was AMAZING. He was very professional and came prepared when we first spoke. I wanted to get my condo on the market quickly and Tyler was VERY fast. He had a professional photographer come in and it was listed within days. He set up lots of opportunities for my condo to be seen by both clients and realtors. It was pending within a week with an amazing offer that surpassed my expectations. We've now had the pleasure of working with Tyler on the sales of two homes and the purchase of another. He did a fabulous job. The first home he sold the very first day on the market for well over asking. We had 7 offers, several all cash! When we purchased our home he understood what we were looking for better than we did. He insisted we check out this fabulous and unique place in little Italy. The specs were smaller than we were looking for and the listing pics were not well done. But at first look we knew it was the place for us! He had found us a rare find with floor to ceiling windows, ocean views and tons of outdoor space right in the heart if little Italy. I’ve know Tyler on a personal basis for a number of years now. After we moved out of our condo, we brought Tyler on to lease it out. With his knowledge, hard work ethic, professionalism, industry connections and upbeat personality we were able to lease our place quickly for a higher rent that we anticipated. He was great to work with.

He provided us with rent comparables for other units in our building and helped us figure out a rent that would get it leased quickly, but also take advantage of recent rent increases. He gave us some ideas to spruce up the place and make it more attractive to potential tenants. He acted quickly to advertise our place and he got it leased right away. We started looking for a house around September of 2014, and from the beginning we were struggling.
